James F. Ganem, MD, FACC, attended University of Louisville School of Medicine in Louisville, Kentucky, and received his medical degree in 1985. Then, he served his internship at Carney Hospital in Boston, MA (1985-1986). Furthermore, he conducted his internal medicine residency at Maricopa Medical Center in Phoenix, AZ (1986-1988). In addition, he completed his fellowship training in interventional cardiology at Good Samaritan Medical Center in Phoenix, AZ (1988-1990). Dr. Ganem received board certification in internal medicine (1988), interventional cardiology (2002), and cardiovascular disease (1991) from the American Board of Internal Medicine. And, he remains at the forefront of his challenging specialty via memberships and affiliations with prestigious professional societies and associations. Dr. Ganem is also a fellow of the American College of Cardiology. In addition to his medical degree, he holds an undergraduate degree acquired at the University of Arizona (1981).
